Focused on both local business and visitor experience, SBAA needed a digital presence that truly reflected the energy, beauty, and charm of the village.
The SBAA came to Signalfire looking for a revamped website to feature their business members, vibrant calendar of events, and beautiful scenery. We began by immersing ourselves in Sister Bay—its shoreline views, its local businesses, and the unmistakable vibe of a community that balances relaxation with activity. From there, we introduced a brand refresh that honored the familiarity of the existing logo and color palette while elevating it—bringing in a sense of openness, lightness, and versatility that better reflects the experience of being there.
With the refined brand as our foundation, we designed and developed a website that invites exploration. The new site puts local businesses front and center, celebrates a robust, year-round events calendar, and showcases the natural beauty that defines Sister Bay across every season.
A key priority was functionality—especially during the quieter months when hours frequently change. To solve this, we built an intuitive, easy-to-update business directory, ensuring visitors can quickly find accurate, up-to-date information whenever they plan their visit.
