Lake Geneva Canopy Tours (LGCT) is a popular zip lining and outdoor adventure center, providing year-round, thrills for Wisconsin/Illinois state-line travelers.

Offering zip line tours, high ropes excursions, hiking and mountain biking, as well as team building programs, LGCT has earned its spot as Trip Advisor’s #1 ranked outdoor activity in Lake Geneva.



As creative marketing guides and outfitters for Lake Geneva Canopy Tours since 2015, Signalfire was approached to develop a year-long marketing action plan for the adventure center.

Our team has had plenty of past experience producing highly effective video for a few of our past clients – we’ve even won awards!

LGCT Winter Video Behind the Scenes

We also coordinated and directed a successful, 60-second winter zip lining and cold weather adventure film in 2016. This gave us confidence that LGCT’s campaign should feature several types of digital media with one major focus: video production.

This was a project of incredible scale – as balancing cost, production crews, and weather conditions all came into play. Signalfire also needed to identify actors/actresses to help reach LGCT’s target demographic.

Diligent planning, as well as a little elbow grease, allowed our creative team to coordinate and direct a series of seven unique videos, filmed and edited by Elevate Media Group – with additional footage by Isaac Smith of Ethos Films – within a year’s time.

The videos were to highlight the changing seasons and on-site events/experiences, while targeting specific audiences.

Signalfire’s video production and creative direction ran through most of 2017, but the bulk of the video promotion is set to rollout for the upcoming 2018 season.

Even while waiting to efficiently promote LGCT’s video series until the appropriate season, the videos have achieved notable results, such as:

  • Over 3,000 hits on YouTube
  • Nearly 7,000 views on Facebook
  • Featured Display within LGCT’s Welcome Center
  • Prominent Placement on the canopy tours website
